How it works
Tell it once. It works the renewal.
Everything below happens on its own, from the moment you add something until the day it is renewed.
The moment you tell it
It reads your sentence
Type what expires the way you would say it out loud. It picks out the date, the category and the renewal cycle, asks about anything you left out, and sets the schedule. Or import the spreadsheet you already keep and it does the same for every row.
30 days before
It emails you — and whoever holds the document
Most renewals depend on somebody outside your team: a supplier, a contractor, a broker. On a paid plan their email carries a secure link to upload the renewed document, with no account to create.
14, 7 and 1 days before
It asks again
Still not renewed? It follows up at every lead time you set, so nobody has to remember to chase.
The day it lapses
It keeps going
The item turns overdue on your dashboard and the nudges continue every week rather than stopping. The week after a missed date is when most lapses actually get fixed.
When the document arrives
You approve it
Their upload waits in your dashboard for review. Nothing changes the record until a person says so.
If nobody acts
It escalates
After the number of overdue days you choose, the manager you nominate is notified as well.
What it will not do: guess.
Other trackers advertise AI that reads expiry dates out of an uploaded document. ExpiryLedger does not. You type a sentence, import a CSV or fill in a form, and it keeps the document attached to the record. A reminder system has exactly one unforgivable bug — the wrong date — so dates here are read by rules that are tested, never generated.

Try it — type what you need to track
Nothing is saved here — this just shows how a plain sentence is read.
